Inter-House Athletics Senior School Results
The Corpus Christi College Senior Inter-House Athletics Carnival once again showcased outstanding talent, determination and House spirit, with students delivering impressive performances both on the track and in the field.
A huge thank you goes to all staff and students whose enthusiasm and commitment helped make the day a success. Congratulations must also go to De Vialar House, whose exceptional team performance saw them crowned 2026 Senior Inter-House Athletics Champions.
Record-Breaking Performances
Several athletes etched their names into the College record books with outstanding performances during the carnival:
Carter Trickett (Year 7) broke the 200m record with a time of 27.12 seconds.
Carter Trickett (Year 7) also set a new record in the 400m, finishing in 1:01.38.
Solomon Martin (Year 7) established a new 1500m record with a time of 5:07.85.
Kaden Ogle (Year 8) set a new javelin record with a throw of 45.51m.
Aaron Webb (Year 9) also broke the javelin record, recording a throw of 41.44m.
Congratulations to these athletes on their remarkable achievements.
Celebrating House Spirit
Alongside athletic excellence, the carnival recognised the House that best embodied the College values of Courage, Commitment and Compassion throughout the event.
The recipient of the Corpus Porpoise Award for Senior Athletics was Merici House, acknowledged for its outstanding spirit, encouragement and participation across the carnival.

Athletes were awarded Championship and Runner-Up honours based on their top four performances across the Pre-Carnival and Main Carnival events, with additional results considered where necessary to determine placings.

With only 376 points separating the top three Houses, competition was fierce across the carnival, highlighting the strong participation and athletic depth across the College.
Looking Ahead to ACC Athletics
Attention now turns to the ACC Athletics season, with middle distance and sprints training commencing this week. Training for all other events will begin next week as students prepare for the ACC A Division Athletics Carnival at the WA Athletics Stadium on Wednesday 16 September.
Students can access Phase 1 squad selections and the ACC training schedule via SPORTAL on SEQTA.
