Young Musicians Band Program

The Corpus Young Musicians Program begins with our exciting new Year 5 Band Program in 2027, allowing students to learn an instrument, perform with their peers and experience the joy of making music together.

Designed to foster a lifelong love of music, the program helps students develop confidence, perseverance, teamwork and discipline while building valuable musical skills in a supportive environment.

Instrument Discovery Day & Information Session

All Year 4 students will take part in an Instrument Discovery Day on Wednesday 9 September, where they can explore a range of concert band instruments with our specialist tutors.

Parents and caregivers are invited to attend an Information Session at 4.00 pm on Wednesday 9 September in the James Nestor Junior Breakout Area to learn more. Students may consider the following instruments as part of the program: Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Percussion and Bass Guitar.
