There are many opportunities for students to engage in extra-curricular activities at the College.

Students who are active participants within College life often have a more positive school experience as they develop friendships and confidence, leading to greater results. 


Music at Corpus Christi College

Are you interested in continuing your music pathway and or looking to learn a new instrument? We would like to introduce our Secondary School Music Tutor programs to our incoming students for 2026. Please see below the details for the music offering.

MUSIC TUTOR LESSONS 2026

We have a strong and vibrant music program at Corpus Christi College offering tuition in the following instruments:

  • Year 3 - 12

    • Acoustic Contemporary Guitar

Music tutoring is available one-on-one during school hours, typically in 30-minute sessions. Lessons rotate weekly to avoid repeated class disruptions. Priority for out-of-class times is given to Senior School ATAR students. To apply, complete the Music Enrolment 2025 form HERE.


INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC BURSARY APPLICATIONS

Applications for the 2026 Music Bursary are now open. If you are an instrumental musician looking to develop your passion for music, this is your chance to shine.  We are looking for strong musicians to fill instrumental positions within existing ensembles. For this reason the bursaries on offer are for specific instruments. Simply complete the Music Bursary Form 2026 which you can find here. We encourage you to act fast as, applications will close on Friday, 10 October 2025.

We’ll be contacting the successful candidates by 24 October 2025, with interviews scheduled during Week 4, Term 4, 2025.


CHOIRS, ENSEMBLES AND BANDS 2026

Corpus Christi College offers a vibrant mix of music opportunities from bands and ensembles to choirs. Our instrumental ensembles for Years 6–12 will rehearse outside school hours, with registrations opening in Term 1. Keen to be involved? Dance at Corpus Christi College

Most co-curricular dance options will open in Term 1 2026, but some auditioned groups require expressions of interest beforehand. Details for each auditioned group are listed below.

AUDITIONED GROUPS

Dance Ensemble

The Dance Ensemble is a specialist group of Senior school students, comprising dancers from Years 7 to 12. The Ensemble aims to provide differentiated learning opportunities that extend our senior students and better prepare them for success in dance and beyond. Dance Ensemble represents the College through performances at events such as the Catholic Performing Arts Festival and the annual Dance Gala and other events throughout the year. Cost is $120.00 for Term 1 to Term 3.

Dance Ensemble Audition Information:

  • Term 1, Week 2 2026

  • Tuesday 10 February 7.15 am-8.20 am or 3.20 pm-4.30 pm 

  • The audition will consist of participating in a technique class led by the Dance Captain/s. 

Rehearsals are held weekly, Tuesdays 7.15 am - 8.20 am, running across Term 1 Week 3 through to Term 3.

Dance Crew Alliance 

This dance class is co-ed and open to all year groups and will focus on hip-hop. The students involved in this program will have the opportunity to perform at the Dance Gala, our annual dance performance, and also at the Catholic Performing Arts Festival and the College events. To participate in this group, students must be at a dance level of intermediate or above. Cost is $120.00 for Term 1 to Term 3. This covers all associated costs such as peripatetic fees, costumes, etc.

  • Wednesday 11 February 7.15 am-8.20 am or 3.20 pm-4.30 pm 

  • The audition will consist of participating in a technique class led by the Dance Captain/s. 

Rehearsals are held weekly, Wednesdays 3.20 pm - 4.30 pm, running across Term 1 Week 3 through to Term 3.


NON-AUDITIONED DANCE GROUPS 2026

Corpus Christi College offers a range of dance opportunities. In 2026, many of these co-curricular opportunities run outside school hours, with registrations opening in Term 1.
