Community Connectors Form

At Corpus, authentic connections lie at the heart of our community. As part of our Year 7 Transition Program, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where every family feels known, valued, and supported.

To strengthen these connections, we are introducing Community Connectors, a network designed to help families build relationships within their child’s Homeroom group and the wider College community. This initiative reflects our belief that learning flourishes in community and that every student thrives when families feel engaged and connected.

We invite you to share your details and preferences regarding joining your child’s Year 7 Homeroom Community Connector Group. Your participation will help foster a sense of belonging and ensure that families can support one another throughout the year.

To establish these groups, we require your consent to share your contact details (name, email, and phone number) with other families in your child’s Homeroom. This information will be used solely for the purpose of building community connections.

If you are interested in nominating to be a Community Connector, our Community Connector Handbook here provides more details about the role.

Please indicate your preferences in the Community Connectors Form below:

Our Common Voice Survey

We believe that authentic partnership between families and the College is the foundation of building a community. When we share a common voice, we create clarity, connection and confidence, ensuring that every student feels supported to thrive.

Parenting often comes with instinct and intuition, yet misconceptions and myths can sometimes cloud the conversation. This survey is designed to debunk myths, remove misunderstandings and strengthen our shared approach to supporting young people. By leaning into the idea of disconnecting to reconnect, we aim to build a culture of trust and transparency.

What will the survey explore?
We will ask questions about:

  • Bedtime routines

  • Homework expectations

  • Parties and supervision

  • Social and mobile phone use

Your responses will provide a valuable gauge of the Year 7 cohort and help us shape meaningful dialogue at our 2026 Year 7 Parent Information Evening on Thursday, 5 February 2026: 5.00 pm - 7.30 pm at the Caroline Payne Theatre. Together, we will explore the findings, share insights and work towards a united approach that reflects our College Values of Courage, Commitment and Compassion.
