Join us for an overview of our Explicit Mathematics Program (EMP) for Pre-Primary to Year 2. This session will provide insight into how structured lessons, daily review and carefully sequenced learning support strong foundations, build confidence, and ensure success for every child in mathematics. Parents will gain a clear understanding of how maths is taught in the Junior School and how they can support learning at home.

In this session, you will learn how structured mathematical challenges promote critical thinking, collaboration, discussion, and reasoning. Through guided inquiry and rich problem-solving tasks, students deepen their understanding and develop strong mathematical fluency. Join our Head of ICT for a practical and empowering workshop designed to support families in building healthy technology habits at home. Drawing on the Common Sense Media framework, this session will explore age-appropriate expectations, screen time balance, online safety, and positive digital behaviours. Parents will be introduced to practical Family Tech Plans that help establish clear routines, boundaries, and shared agreements, empowering children to use technology in safe, balanced and responsible ways.

This workshop explores everyday uses of AI, opportunities and risks for young people, and the importance of digital literacy, privacy, and critical thinking. Parents will gain simple, ethical strategies to help with assessment planning, revision, and homework while promoting independence, academic integrity, and responsible technology use.
