About the Role 

The College is seeking applications from dynamic Technicians with trade skills that interested in assisting our Senior School students and teachers to improve learning experiences.

The role is key to providing safe, well-organised and enriching learning experiences in workshops and classrooms for the delivery of Woodwork, Metalwork and Design subjects.

This is a permanent, part-time position working four days per week during school term time. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a team of passionate professionals who are committed to our students and their needs.

 

About You

Our ideal candidate will possess experience in a similar role or be appropriately qualified with wood or metal trade skills, be eligible to obtain a current National Police Clearance and WWC clearance in addition to possessing;

  • Experience in safety procedures and managing risk

  • A service-oriented approach and a willingness to work in an education environment with students

  • Sound ability to use technology, willingness to learn school systems

  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and act as a respectful and responsible role model within a school setting

  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills, including the ability to adapt to changing priorities

  • The ability to use initiative and problem-solve

  • Personal commitment to the College Values, Vision and Mission underpinning the delivery of a Catholic based education to students in the College community

  • Ability to work cooperatively and enthusiastically in a team towards achieving a common vision for learning  

  • Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the College
