About the Role
The College is seeking applications from committed and dynamic Learning Assistants interested in assisting students with diverse learning needs within our Senior School. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a team of passionate professionals who are committed to our Diverse Learning philosophy, in a full-time fixed-term capacity for the reminder of the 2026 calendar year.
About You
Our ideal candidates will be appropriately qualified, hold current National Police Clearance and WWC clearance in addition to;
A personal commitment to the College Values, Vision and Mission underpinning the delivery of a Catholic based education to students in the College community.
Ability to foster nurturing and positive relationships with students to cater for their needs
Experience in assisting teachers in the delivery and evaluation of planned education programs
Ability to work cooperatively and enthusiastically in a team towards achieving a common vision for learning
Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the College
Confidently work with an individual student or small groups of students under teacher direction
Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment as required under teacher direction in the delivery of planned teaching and learning programs.
Assist in co-ordination of delivering assessment adjustments for students as per learning support profiles.
Use a variety of modification and adjustment strategies to support students to access class activities and assessments
