About the Role 

The College is seeking applications from committed and dynamic Learning Assistants interested in assisting students with diverse learning needs within our Senior School. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a team of passionate professionals who are committed to our Diverse Learning philosophy, in a full-time fixed-term capacity for the reminder of the 2026 calendar year.

 

About You

Our ideal candidates will be appropriately qualified, hold current National Police Clearance and WWC clearance in addition to;

  • A personal commitment to the College Values, Vision and Mission underpinning the delivery of a Catholic based education to students in the College community. 

  • Ability to foster nurturing and positive relationships with students to cater for their needs  

  • Experience in assisting teachers in the delivery and evaluation of planned education programs

  • Ability to work cooperatively and enthusiastically in a team towards achieving a common vision for learning  

  • Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the College   

  • Confidently work with an individual student or small groups of students under teacher direction 

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment as required under teacher direction in the delivery of planned teaching and learning programs. 

  • Assist in co-ordination of delivering assessment adjustments for students as per learning support profiles. 

  • Use a variety of modification and adjustment strategies to support students to access class activities and assessments
