About the Role
The College is seeking applications from experienced and organised candidates interested in Coordinating the College Cafeteria. This is an ongoing position working full-time hours during school term time.
The role of Cafeteria Coordinator at Corpus Christi College is an integral part of the support staff. The role is responsible for the day-to-day running of the College Cafeteria, leading a dedicated team of staff members in providing a range of innovative, quality, healthy meals for students, staff and members of the College community. In using established routines, methods and procedures, the Cafeteria Coordinator ensures the efficient and compliant operation of the College Cafeteria and associated catering services. The Cafeteria Coordinator must ensure safe and appropriate practices are followed in relation to hygiene, health laws and regulations.
About You
3 years’ experience in a similar role in a commercial kitchen, catering company or school cafeteria
Demonstrated experience in managing, training and mentoring staff
High proficiency in food preparation
Demonstrated experience in purchasing, budgeting and administrative operations
Excellent knowledge of food handling regulations, WHS responsibilities & allergy prevention strategies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously and in a busy team
Effective time management and strong customer service skills
Initiative and problem-solving skills
Ability to honestly consistently carry out self-evaluation in all aspects of the role
Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the College
Experience in a school environment and experience with Catholic Education WA Limited’s Administration of Schools (AoS) software is desirable but not essential.
