About the Role 

The College is seeking applications from experienced and organised candidates interested in joining the collaborative Finance team. This is a full-time, 12 month fixed-term position covering staff leave, within a team of five that supports the accounts payable function at the College.

As a key member of the Finance and Administration team, working across both the Junior and Senior schools, the role is essential in ensuring the day-to-day financial processing tasks are completed.

About You

Our ideal candidate will be eligible to obtain a current National Police Clearance and WWC clearance in addition to possessing;

  • Accounting qualifications or relevant/equivalent financial and administrative work experience in a mid-to-large sized organisation

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Intermediate MS Excel skills (and competency in Microsoft Office), plus familiarity with accounting systems

  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work autonomously and in a busy team

  • Effective time management

  • Initiative and ability to honestly, consistently carry out self-evaluation of all aspects of their role

  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality

  • Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the College   

Experience in a school environment and experience with Catholic Education WA Limited’s Administration of Schools (AoS) software is desirable but not essential.
