Who should I contact if I have any questions?
For ticketing enquiries: Donna McCrystal, Arts Administrator – donna.mccrystal@cewa.edu.au
For all other enquiries, including costumes, the program, or attendance, Caroline Stevenson, Teacher in Charge of Dance – caroline.stevenson@cewa.edu.au
What do I do in the event that my child is sick or injured and cannot attend rehearsal or performance?
Please communicate as soon as possible to Caroline Stevenson on caroline.stevenson@cewa.edu.au or, Donna McCrystal on donna.mccrystal@cewa.edu.au
The reason for this is to ensure that the teachers can make adjustments to the rehearsal structure, and so minimise the impact on the rest of the students and performance.
What do students wear to and from the Dress Rehearsal and Performance?
All students must wear the College winter sports uniform to and from both the Dress Rehearsal and the evening performance. This helps with student identification and presents a unified appearance.
COSTUMES
How do I know what costume my child needs?
All costume requirements have been sent via email and uploaded to Teams and Seesaw for each class or group. These outline what the College will provide and what students need to supply.
When are costumes due?
All student-supplied costume elements must be brought to school by Thursday of Week 9, so we can complete a costume check and allow students to rehearse in them.
Where should my child bring their costumes?
Students should take their costumes to their class teacher. Students will bring their costumes to dance class when their teachers walk them down during Period 1 and store them in preparation for the performance.
Why are costume bags needed earlier than the costumes?
We ask for labelled costume bags by the end of Week 8, as this allows staff to allocate and organise the College-supplied costume items.
What hairstyle is required?
The required hairstyle is outlined in the Costume and Performance Information form. Please follow the instructions specific to your child’s dance item.
What is meant by "light stage make-up"?
For Junior School students, this means:
- No eyeliner
- Lipstick in the colour specified on the Costume and Performance Information form which has already been sent out on Seqta, Seesaw and Teams.

Can students take their costumes home?
No. All costume items must remain at school to avoid damage or loss. The only exception is shoes that are part of everyday school wear, which may be taken home during the holidays and must be returned for the Dress Rehearsal.
Can students eat while in costume?
Students are discouraged from eating in costume. If they must eat, they must wear their College sport jacket over their costume to protect it.
