Shrove Tuesday

Shrove Tuesday, is the traditional feast day before the start of Lent. Our Students indulged in some delicious pancakes this morning and enjoyed the festivities.

Why Pancakes? Traditionally, Shrove Tuesday was the last opportunity to use up eggs and fats before fasting for Lent, and pancakes were the perfect way of using up these ingredients!
