The Arts Day

Last Wednesday 27 October, an Orientation Day for our new Year 7s for 2010 was held. The purpose of the day was to provide our future students with the opportunity to experience Corpus Christi College. It followed the theme of 'The Arts Day' which involved Dance, Music and Art.

Mrs Sally Floyd, Head of The Arts, and her team: Mr Bruce Cash, Mrs Gaby Lynch, Mrs Yvonne Wiese, Miss Chanelle Pottier, Mr Stephen Kingwell, Mrs Cheryl-Lynn Mothiram and Mr Lennon Rego organised the activities for this day.

Our current Year 9 student leaders and the incoming team for 2010 were on hand to guide our visitors during the day. Also, Miss Pottier’s Year 9 Dance Group assisted in the dance sessions. These students were a credit to the College and were commended for their friendly and courteous manner.

As you can see from the images below, everyone had a very enjoyable day. Our next Orientation Day will be held on Monday 7 December 2009 followed by a Parents evening.
