Olympiad Chemist in Year 11

Chemistry and Physics Olympiad Results

NICOLA CLAUDIUS of Year 11 sat the Chemistry Olympiad Qualifying Examination and the Physics Olympiad Qualifying Examination in August 2009, and has achieved the following excellent results:

• High Distinction in Chemistry
  
  
• Distinction in Physics.

Based on these exceptional results Nicola has been invited to attend the Chemistry Olympiad Summer Scholar School at Monash University in Victoria for three weeks commencing January 2010.  At Monash, Nicola will undergo a very intensive training schedule and may have the opportunity to represent Australia in the Chemistry Olympiads in 2010.

The College Congratulates Nicola for her outsanding achievement in such challenging examinations and wishes her all the best in her studies at Monash University.
